Volleyball friendly game against Navy Teams
It was a amazing Sunday of volleyball as URBOND teams played a friendly game against the Royal Navy teams at the HMS Temeraire Base in Portsmouth.
URBOND Ladies won their game 5 – 0 sets while the Men’s team lost 2 – 3 sets against a well organised team.
Speaking after the games, URBOND Team Manager, Willard-Hans said, ” We couldn’t turn down the offer to have a friendly game against the teams and I’m delighted it took place. Overall, I’m happy with the performance of both our teams and especially the Ladies who’ve hardly trained together as a team. I want to thank Colin R. for organising the games and I hope we can do this often and make it a yearly event with more teams participating.”
URBOND Teams train on Tuesdays (Mens) and Sundays (Community sessions open to all) and new members are always welcome.
