Tough Mudder Well done #TeamURBOND

What a fantastic event, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

Massive thanks to our friends, families, donors and sponsors, we couldn’t have done it without their great support.

Participants: Ian Smith (Team captain), Sam Bird, Drame, Megan Smith, Megan Dridge, Steph, Ella, Finlay, Kwame, Charles, Paige, Callum, Casimir, Alex Bird, Alex, Dean, Sam Field and Gemma :).

We went into this event with a group of 18 people, 4 group members dropped out due to last minute health concerns. Most of our participants  were beginners who all had the same fears and worries leading up to it but feeling the energy in the air as we pulled up to the starting area meant all those fears were replaced with excitement. After taking a knee to recite the Mudder pledge it was all GO! It was hard to stay together in between obstacles but most of TeamURBOND participants stayed and supported each other for the entire course.

The following comment was made by one of our participant, ‘I am covered in cuts, bruises and my legs are in agony but providing free education and opportunities to children in need is worth the pain‘ – Finlay Powell.

The team has raised a phenomenal £3,477.57 of £5,000 target for URBOND Child Education Programme which will provide free primary education and opportunities to children in need. So far, this has been an incredible success, achieved through collaborative efforts between the team, families, friends, and URBOND family as a whole.
