Leaders of Portsmouth Groups and Associations met with PEP and School Inclusion Officer to discuss racism and anti-bullying in schools

Leaders of local groups and associations in Portsmouth were joined by Sarah Christopher from Portsmouth Education Partnership (PEP) to discuss racism and bullying in schools.
The forum organised last Saturday 7th May by URBOND was attended by 15 participants with most of them being leaders and representatives of groups and associations based our lovely city.
The purpose of the forum was to discuss the issues raised by some parents about the abuse and challenges their children go through in schools and what support they could get for their complaints to be heard.
URBOND is working with key organisations and parent boards in our city to help change the situation that some parents in our communities have raised. Our Youth Development Programme plays a big impact on the lives of the young people we work with on a daily basis.
”URBOND will continue to bring in special guests to come in and explain how they can help change things or provide support to community members. Sarah Christopher from PEP is here today to talk about the inclusion in schools and the work of the Portsmouth Education Partnership” – Ousmane Drame (URBOND CEO)
